Myonichikan

The owners of a girls' school in central Tokyo are being encouraged to preserve one of only two remaining Frank Lloyd Wright buildings in Japan. They solicited design ideas for the adaptive re-use of the school building that would be sensitive to its history, while still making it a viable economic entity. My proposal adds behind, and under the existing building, allowing the important green forecourt to remain.
