Karr (Principal, Owner) is an award winning, California licensed architect with certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) for practice in all 50 US States. He holds a Masters' Degree in Architecture from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree from Oberlin College. Joel has over 25 years of experience, with built works in 5 countries and on 3 Continents. His history includes designing noteworthy projects with some of the worlds' most renowned architectural firms, including Kohn Pedersen Fox Architects of New York, and CF Murphy/Helmut Jahn of Chicago, as well as with firms overseas. Joel's project work has included large scale corporate and commercial projects in a wide variety of project types as well as smaller residential designs.
